Salmon year-round; cod, trout and shellfish in season
Atlantic salmon is the core of the trade and is available every week of the year. Cod, haddock and saithe follow the quota calendar; fjord trout, mackerel, herring, crab and prawn each have their own season. Every species and every traded form has a specification page.

Fish of Norway does not own a plant or a vessel. We match your requirement against producers whose establishment approval and export registration we have checked, and the producer is the seller and the exporter of record on the health certificate. That is how the certificate matches the goods, and how you know who carries the risk at each stage.
Registered exporter, approved establishments
The producer we source salmon from is listed in the Norwegian Seafood Council’s exporter registry and holds establishment approvals issued by the Norwegian Food Safety Authority (Mattilsynet). The approval number is printed on every carton and can be checked in the public register.

Which term, and where the risk passes
Fresh salmon by air is normally quoted FCA Oslo Airport or CPT/CIP to the destination airport. Frozen by sea is quoted FOB, CFR or CIF at the named port. DAP is possible where the seller controls the transit. The table is the generic Incoterms 2020 rule; the offer names the term and the place.

The set that travels with every consignment
Assembled and checked before shipment, not after. The health certificate is issued by Mattilsynet per consignment in the exporter’s name; a certificate of origin is added where a trade agreement or the importer requires it.

Before the first request
An agent. Fish of Norway is the trading name of Fiskeruta AS, a Norwegian seafood sourcing agent. The seller and the exporter of record are Norwegian producers with their own establishment approval, named in every offer. Our fee is a separate line, never folded into the unit price.
Look up the organisation number in the Brønnøysund registers, the establishment number in the Mattilsynet approval list, and the company in the Norwegian Seafood Council exporter registry. No. A price without volume, size band, Incoterm and validity is not information. Offers are quoted per request and every figure carries a status — indicative, supplier-confirmed, agent-verified or contracted. Certificates belong to a supplier and a production site, never to Fish of Norway. The offer states which supplier and which site each certificate covers — establishment approval, health certificate, and ASC, GLOBALG.A.P., MSC or halal where the site holds them — and we check each one against the issuing register before the offer reaches you.
