Season calendar
Catch and harvest season by species
Season status by species for the selected month, from the fishing and harvest calendar. Farmed salmon and trout are harvested year-round; wild species have a fishing season, and frozen product from the previous season is often available outside it from supplier stock. No price is shown here — a current price is only issued against a specific request, with a stated volume, Incoterm and validity.

Origin
Every lot resolves to a vessel or a site, a catch area and a date.
Traceability is not a certificate on a wall. It is a lot number that answers a question, and it is the first thing we check before a supplier is allowed to quote.
The film
Norwegian seafood in under two minutes
From the fjords to the processing line: salmon, cod, skrei and coldwater prawns, and the cold Atlantic water that makes them what they are.

How the service works
From requirement to receipt, as one order
- 01
Send requirement
You register species, specification, volume and destination. The form asks for everything a supplier needs in order to quote — which is why the offers come back comparable rather than approximate.
- 02
We source and verify
We match the requirement against suppliers whose approval, certificates and capacity we have already checked, and we confirm those documents are current before the request goes out.
- 03
Compare offers
Offers are converted to one format: same weight basis, same Incoterm, same currency, freight and fees separated out. You see total landed cost per kilo, not a unit price that hides the rest.
- 04
Confirm trade
Price, quality standard, Incoterm, payment terms and delivery window are agreed in writing. You know who the contracting party is and who carries the risk at each stage before anything ships.
- 05
We coordinate delivery
Documentation, freight, cold chain and follow-up run as one order. If something goes wrong, the claim is registered against the lot and the supplier, not left between you and a stranger.
What we handle
We do not only sell fish
We sell seafood trade that is safer and simpler than doing it yourself — which means taking responsibility for the parts most agents leave to the buyer.

Purchase requests and tenders
Structured RFQs and formal tender responses.
Supplier search and offer collection
Matching against verified capacity, not a contact list.
Quality and document control
Certificates checked against the issuing register.
Price and terms comparison
Total landed cost on a single basis.
Contract and trade documents
Complete document set, assembled before shipment.
Cold chain and international logistics
Air, road and reefer, booked and monitored.
Follow-up to receipt
Status per lot until the buyer accepts it.
Claims and discrepancies
Registered, documented and pursued with the supplier.
Service levels
Three levels of involvement
These describe what we do, not what the fish is. Product condition is tracked separately, and a product is only called premium when the criteria are concrete and documented.

- Delivered and accepted

Execution
Freight, temperature and documents are one problem, so we treat them as one.
Seafood rarely fails in the plant. It fails on a warm apron at transit and in a document set that reaches the border after the goods. Both are avoidable, and both are ours to avoid.
Global market structure
Eight regions, eight different trades
Species, form, packing, documents, transport and payment risk differ by destination. Each region has its own commercial entry — not the same page with a new heading.
Europe
The volume market. Short lead times, EEA documentation, and buyers who expect delivery reliability over price.
Oslo · Ålesund · Rotterdam
North America
Regulation-heavy and specification-driven. FDA and CFIA compliance decides whether a consignment clears, long before quality does.
Oslo · Newark · Boston
East Asia
The quality market. Japan and Korea pay for fat content, size grade and consistency — and reject on all three.
Ålesund · Oslo · Busan
Southeast Asia
Fast-growing modern retail and a large reprocessing base. Halal certification and cold-chain integrity are the two gates.
Oslo · Singapore · Port Klang
Middle East
Premium hospitality and re-export hubs. Halal documentation and airfreight reliability define the trade.
Oslo · Dubai · Doha
Latin America
Built on cured products. Brazil is the world’s largest saltfish market, and it buys on tradition and appearance.
Ålesund · Santos · Rio de Janeiro
Africa
Volume protein and a long-standing stockfish trade. Payment security and freight cost, not quality grade, decide the deal.
Ålesund · Tema · Lagos
Oceania
Small, high-specification and strictly biosecure. Australia and New Zealand are the hardest import permits we work with.
Oslo · Melbourne · Sydney
South Asia
The fastest-growing salmon market with the least published guidance. Hospitality demand in India leads; import licensing and airfreight routing decide who actually gets supplied.
Oslo · Mumbai · Delhi

Working languages
We trade in your language
A specification misread is a claim waiting to happen. Every product page, specification and request form on this site is published in the languages below — not machine-flipped on the fly, but written out and kept in step with the English source.
Opening the site from a country or browser we recognise takes you straight to that language. Any page can be read in any of them, and your choice is remembered.
